About this time last year my husband and I were on holiday - our first holiday alone together ever (our children had gone to visit his ex ) After a few days he asked me why I had been wearing trainers all holiday so far. I told him that I did not own sandals because of my terrible feet - he instead that we go shoe shopping and soon realised that I was never going to find a pair of sandals which would hide my feet- He was so supportive and insisted that I have them seen to.
I was so relieved that the Doctor agreed that I was definitely in need of corrective surgery and since the operation I have worn fitflops ever since - only because I am not able to wear closed shoes just yet !
